Speckled Dog Convention
Well, last weekend we went to our usual Speckled Dog Convention at the kids' house in Peoria.
Ruby is now up to Catahoula cousin Cooper's shoulder.
She used to tower over him as a puppy,
even bigger than he is to her now.
Poor Barley just doesn't understand why he can't be the little puppy anymore.
Ruby loves her Sonoran desert home, but also loves the opportunity to play in the lush green grass of civilization.
It's so much more fun to play hard in grass than on hard desert.
Cooper was named after Alice due to his eyeliner.
A good time was had by all, only one fight that had to be broken up
(yes, ACDs are much faster than Catahoulas and they can stop faster too.
However, ACDs get pissed when slow Cats fall on them because they can't stop as fast.)
