More Soap Box Derby
It was really cool to see how many girls were racing.
Results from the weekend's racing
This girl on the left below,
Serena Hehnke, was racing in the 200 pound class (car + driver.)
She needed a bit of weight to get up to the 200 lbs.
It was her first race day, see her below ready for her first test run.
By noon, she was an old pro.
She was supervising the transport of her racer back up the hill like she had been doing it for years.
Jenna Mellen, below, had a pretty cool car and did well in the standings.
Master's Class cars are long, sleek and elegant,
much like their drivers.
