Jim Wins Second Place in Parade
with Animal Rescue Float!

The Subaru got decked out in doggie disguise
for the Annual Superior
Festival of Lights Parade
sponsored by the Superior Optimist's Club on December 1st.

Jim, Pam Rabago and Sherry Figdore engineered this marvel of a float.
I had some small doubts
on Friday afternoon
when the Float Committee was supposed to meet at 3:30 PM to decorate the truck.
I went upstairs at dinner to help in the bar, and discovered the Committee had been there since since 4:00 PM.
They remained there considerably longer.
They claimed they were "strategizing."

Their strategizing paid off.
The pictures don't do the truck justice.
As it was parked downtown for viewing after the parade, it seemed to glow more from inside than be lit by the lights.
Jim pulled the inverter from the coach to power this puppy.

You can see the bow on the tail. Our Rescue Pup pulled Santa and Crew along in the New Generation Sleigh.
This award winning float won $50.00 cash from Arizona Public Service for Superior Animal Rescue!
Congratulations to everyone in SAR for all their help and support to make this happen!
