JIM HAS A JOB!

Not something he was looking for,
but since we have been in town,
people would drive up to the front gate and he would help with their vehicles.
Well, he got handed a slip to go pee in a clinic in Globe
and I got a packet of paperwork to fill out for him, and all of a sudden, he was employed!
It was literally a situation where they put him in the job, not something he looked for at all.
I think he was rather stunned as he had no intention of doing anything but being retired.
But the Town of Superior hasn't had any focus for the maintenance of anything mechanical in town. There are pickups, police cars, backhoes, dump trucks, sewer plant machines and more. I've been trying to find a job so Jim could keep working on the house, and was feeling very sorry for him until.......

This is a 1939 Seagrave in his fleet. There is also a '41 Ford firetruck and the fine beast shown below.

Can you imagine being forced to deal with antique fire trucks, and have to get them parade -ready?

And needing to road test all the fire trucks?

And now he has to help fix them! Poor dude has to diagnose, as well as drive and test all these trucks.
See Jim's Firetruck Fleet.

But somehow, I think he is going to have fun, at least for a while.
Maybe start a new trend, like antiques on parade?
