Ruby loses a boyfriend and
Superior loses its friendliest resident.
Garbage in Superior
Superior is divided into the north half and the south half of town for garbage disposal.
We, up in the north part, get Mondays and Thursdays,
southsiders get Tuesday and Fridays.
The Town has started available bulk pick up on Wednesdays through AJ Waste.
Boy, can we use that.
To get the pick up, you must schedule through the town - Just call
Nora, the Town Customer Service Rep at
520-689-5752.
You also must have an adult at home when the gentlemen from the
garbage company come to pick up.
We had the whole bathroom we had ripped out of the trailer attached to our house.
Toilet, bathtub, water heater, plus and old kitchen sink and an iron barrel.
When the truck came to pick up all the junk we had schlepped out to the curb,
this was the first time we actually got to talk with our garbage guys.
This a picture of Jim with our driver, Bobby.
Although he lives in Mesa, now, Bobby grew up on Kellner,
and could point down the alley across Copper Street
to the house he grew up in.
